WARMING CHAI TEA

WARMING CHAI TEA

Ingredients

To warm your heart!

  • 3 cups (750 ml) water
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 3 black peppercorns
  • 2 cinnamon sticks or 1/2 - 1 tsp (2 - 5 ml) of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of fresh sliced ginger
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) of rooibos or black tea (selon le goût)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of hemp, almond or rice milk
  • Honey to taste



 

Preparation

With the exception of the milk, mix all the ingredients together a bring them to a boil. Reduce the temperature and and allow the water to simmer for 20 minutes. Add the milk and turn off the burner. Filter and serve.
